From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Acft landed long and ran off the end of the rwy. (.4) the private pilot conducted a local flight. On landing he allowed the airplane to touch down approximately 1,000 feet down the 2,600 foot runway. He was unable to stop the airplane on the remaining runway due to the wet turf runway. The pilot told investigators that he did not realize the runway was wet prior to the accident. An examination of the airplane after the accident failed to reveal any pre-existing anomalies. (-23)the aircraft landed long approximately halfway down the runway. The landing roll-out was over extended due to wet turf runway. Aircraft ran off the departure end.
