From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Mr. Schilling, while conducting a personal flight from connersville, IN to Franklin, IN., entered the downwind leg for runway 030 at Franklin Flying field. At that time, he energized all of his landing and navigational lights, then noticed his #1 comm failing. He verified an electrical system failure when he cycled the gear lever to the down position. The three gear down annunciator lights flickered on, went solid then started dimming. At that time he lost all electrical power. Without the gear lights or electrical power the pilot assumed the gear down, locked and proceeded to land. Mr. Schilling touched down on the left main gear first, with the engine at idle speed. He bled the airspeed off and allowed the right main gear to touch down. The right wing continued towards the ground, at that moment he realized the right main gear was not fully extended and locked into position. The prop struck the runway and the aircraft swerved right. The right wing tip touched down in the grass. The rest of the aircraft slid to the right coming to a stop. Mr. Schilling shut off the master switch and magnetos, then exited the aircraft.
