From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On August 5, 1999 a tailwheel converted Cessna 175B, piloted by Mr. Danny ray jolliffe, veered off the left side of runway 32 while attempting to land at Tetlin airstrip in Tetlin, Alaska. It was later determined that a bad disk on the right brake caused the failure of the brake system on that side. Minor damage to the leading edge of each wing tip occurred. Initially it was determined that the passenger, Mr. Eric erickson, a private pilot, was the PIC manipulating the controls at the time of the incident. The investigation eventually proved Mr. Jolliffe as the sole manipulator of the controls.

As the FAA filed it
