From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)On approach into Anchorage, extended ldg., got a green light on nose and left MLG, red light on right MLG. Recycled gear 2 more times with same results. Had to cancel approach and did a go around. Cycled gear one more time with same results. Accomplished a manual extension, got 3 green lights and an uneventful landing was made. Maintenance found a broken hydraulic bypass tube for right MLG. In right hand wing. Replaced tube assembly, cycled gear and everything checked okay. Aircraft released for service.
