From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(.4) While attempting to land on a recently cleared roadway, the aircraft bounced back into the air. When it touched back down, it veered to the right, and the pilot's directional control inputs were not adequate to keep the right wing from coming in contact with trees that were growing along the side of the landing area. (-23) pilot attempted to land on a dirt road near his construction site. Wing hit some brush and aircraft ground looped. Substantial damage to aircraft. No injuries. Pilot was only occupant of aircraft.
