What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Private pilot, while practicing landing at L15, encountered windshear and gusts to approximately 23 knots. Upon touchdown, a strong gust lifted the tail, causing temporary loss of control and allowing the propeller to strike the ground, "wheel barrowing effect". Pilot was subsequently evaluated by a flight instructor during crosswind operations and found satisfactory. The engine and propeller were removed for teardown inspection.
