From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)On landing at Elba Alabama airport the left side of the aircraft sank as the left gear collapsed. The left wing touched the runway and then the right gear collapsed, because of the side load, followed by the nose gear. The aircraft had a bad joint at the forward attached point which caused the failure. The owner stated that he has started to sell parts of the aircraft becuase he does not trust the glue that he used in this aircraft. The owner started to build this aircraft about fourteen years ago. The owner suspects there could be other glue joint problems with this aircraft and has stated the aircraft will be destroyed.
