From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)Crew taxing onto congested ramp area attempted slow, tight turn causing nosewheel to cock. Aircraft came to a stop, requiring breakway thrust to complete the turn. A parked, unsecured CE-172 behind the B-727 was blown into a parked, secured CE-182 causing minor damage to both aircraft. N1 & N2 values during the taxi maeuver were not monitored during the maneuver. Fixed-base operator advised crew to proceed onto the ramp & provided marshalling, but did not assure that all aircraft were tied-down & did not advise the crew that there were unsecured aircraft on the ramp.
