From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)Pilot was enroute from Arizona to north dakota at 11,000 feet when he experienced a manifold pressure decrease. Shortly after that the oil pressure started to fail and the pilot started looking for a place to land. The engine lost power and the pilot landed the aircraft on a county road with no damage to the aircraft or the occupants during landing. During post flight inspection, it was noted that oil was leaking from the engine area. A mechanic found an oil leak at turbocharger causing it to fail. All other engine components were found to be in satisfactory condition.
