From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While in cruise flight at FL310 during a conversation, the captain appeared to "fall asleep". He exhibited labored breathing, rigid arm muscles and some "minor convulsions". He came to after 20-30 seconds, with initial disorientation and "profuse" sweating, but felt fine after several minutes. After a short discussion, the crew elected to return to msp. The remainder of the flight was uneventful with the first officer the pilot flying and the captain the pilot was not flying. A 737 first officer from another airline was brought forward to the jump seat to assist with monitoring the radio and to be available if needed.
