From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On may 22, 2001 at approximately 1305L, a Cessna citation 560 N358QS, had the nose landing gear collapsed on touchdown to runway 9L. The aircraft skidded down the runway for 2000 ft. no injuries to the crew of 2 and 4 passengers. The aircraft sustained minor damage to the bottom of the airframe and nose wheel area. The nose radome and numerous antennas and pitto tubes also had minor damage. The nose gear actuator is in question due to this being the third incident in one year involving this type of aircraft and landing gear. The nose gear actuator was removed and sent to NTSB for analysis.
