From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Upon approach to cid airport, pilot lowered landing gear. The landing gear indication light for the nose showed that it was down and locked, the other landing gear indicator lights showed that the gear was not in the down and lock position. Pilot notified ATC. Pilot flew down run way so that ATC could see landing gear. ATC reported to pilot that the landing gear appeared to be in the down and lock position. Pilot cycled landing gear and check circuit breakers and lights for failure, none was noted. Pilot then requested a second and third fly by while performing trouble shooting procedures. Both times ATC reported that the gear appeared to be in the down position. Pilot elected to land. Upon landing and roll out, the right landing gear collapsed. No causal factor has been discovered with the reported landing gear failure at this time.
