From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot extended landing gear on the down wind leg at eul. He stated the landing extended because he felt the drag on the aircraft. He thinks the gear down safe indicator was lit. He made a normal approach and landing. During the landing flare as he relaxed the back pressure, the prop contacted the runway because the nose gear had not extended. Witnesses state the main gear was extended but the nose gear was not extended. There was minor damage to the nose gear doors and the propeller showed extensive runway contact.
