From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot statement: after a 50-hour inspection at Lancaster Airport by henry weber aircraft distributors, inc., I took the seneca N4303W a pa 34-220 turbo up for a test flight. After I attempted to cycle the gears, the front wheel remained in the wheel well. I had a full tank of gas, and I decided to stay up there for awhile to burn off as much of it as I could. I attempted to recycle the gears at least 25 or 30 times, I made steep 45 degree turns to the left and to the right and I put the plane in various odd attitudes in an attempt to get the gear to drop. All of these measures were to no avail, and after three hours of flying in the vicinity of the airport, I declared an emergency, and landed on runway 26. The landing was basically uneventful and I was not at all injured. Respectfull submitted, Dr. Ronald avis.
