From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot took off from cdw airport, NJ, on the climb out towards the west, at about 2200', pilot experienced main rotor vibration. Upon reaching 2500' and the vibration still continuing, the pilot elected to make a precautionary landing in an open area which happened to be a sewage treatment plant. The landing was with power and no damage or injuries were sustained by the two occupants or the helicopter. After an inspection and a hover test, the mechanic on the scene made the necessary entries in the appropriate documents and the helicopter was flown back to its base. Suspect carburetor icing.
