From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Teterboro winds were 330 15G25 on the ATIS. Pilots were given a visual for rwy 1. Pilots heard another airplane report windshear to the tower so they adjusted their final approach speed to ref (124K) +20. No wind shear advisory was given by the tower. On final, airplane speed was ref +15. Encountering turbulence, the PIC maintained ref +15, and felt the approach was stabilized. Over the numbers, a gust of wind caught the airplane, a high sink rate warning came on, airspeed dropped to ref -5. The crew immediately added power, noting that the airspeed rapidly rose to ref +5. At this point the airplane was close to the ground and the crew felt a normal landing could be made. Crew and passenger thought it was a normal landing till the lineman at the fro informed them there was minor damage to right wing tip. It had apparently contacted the rwy.
