From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Departed tacoma narrows WA (tiw) at 1630 PST on a IFR flight plan to sun valley (sun). Over Baker, OR (bke), unforcasted heavy icing in clouds was encountered. The pilot requested and received a clearance for an IFR approach to bke, which was VFR. Because of ice on the airframe, the pilot maintained an airspeed that was higher than normal. The landing was fast and hard. After touch down during roll-out, the nose gear collapsed. The pilot maneuvered the aircraft clear of the runway.
