From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)Pilot stated that his airplane hit a bump just before landing and became uncontrollable. The airplane landed on the right side of runway 19R just passed taxiway juliet and hit two runway signs. The pilot had attempted to go-around and was able to get airborne. He observed that he was over the runway and decided to land rather than continue his go-around. He landed on runway 19R, near taxiway hotel, and on the center of the runway. The aircraft started to turn to the left. This was due to a broken scissor link on the left main landing gear which caused the tire and wheel assembly to turn ninety degrees to the normal direction of travel. The airplane came to rest off the left side of runway 19R next to taxiway echo. A Boeing 757 had landed four and half minutes before this incident.
