What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) American eagle flight 4526, while taxiing into company gate 26, hit an air cart. A gate agent/wing walker had pushed an air cart in the no park area of the jet bridge. The aircraft movement was directed by a marshaller, with the wing walker positioned on the left wing. The wing walker left his position to get a belt loader. The marshaller did not see the air cart and signaled the aircraft forward. The aircraft left wing struck the air cart, resulting in minor damage to the wing leading edge. The aircraft marshaller and wing walker were both counseled and given extra instruction in regards to proper aircraft movement.privacy data omitted
