What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Pilot/aircraft owner inadvertently landed with the parking brake on, causing the aircraft to nose over during landing. The parking brake had apparently been set for the duration of the flight, as the aircraft had previously departed from a wet grass runway, before the incident landing on a paved surface. Counseling was completed with the airman on checklist usage, and according to the pilot, the aircraft checklist has been modified to include ensuring the brake is released before takeoff.
