From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Mr. Hansen stated that he departed pompano airpark at approx. 09:30 am enroute to ocala, FL. He stated that shortly after take off, he experienced a drop in engine RPM and contacted the control tower and told them that he wanted to return and land. He said that he doesn't remember if he hit or engaged the landing gear switch or not, but nevertheless, the aircraft landed with the landing gear not fully extended and sustained minor damage to the belly of the aircraft and destroyed the propeller. Mr. Hansen's daughter was a passenger and no one was injured. The investigation of the aircraft involved in the accident revealed that it sustained minor damage to the belly skin of the aircraft and completely destroyed the propeller due to landing with the gear partially extended. There was no visible damage to the landing gear or any other part of the aircraft. The aircraft was lifted by airport personnel and the landing gear extended. The aircraft was taken to Mr. Hansen's warehouse for repair.
