From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Mr. Little admitted that he failed to place the landing gear handle in the "down" position. He stated he was third in sequence in the traffic pattern for runway 11 at the 2V2 airport. He admitted to being distracted by the other aircraft in the traffic pattern. He then landed the aircraft with the landing gear retracted. The aircraft had minimal damage. There was no damage to the firewall bulkhead or to the primary airframe. The damage was isolated to some external skin, lower antennas and the propeller. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the 14CFR part 91 flight and no flight plan was filed.
