From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot was taxiing his Beech baron through an aircraft tiedown area for takeoff for a local flight. A Cessna 414 parked such that the nose of the aircraft stuck out into the taxiway more than the other parked aircraft. There was enough room for the baron to taxi through, however the pilot would have to taxi about two feet off the taxiway centerline. There were persons working on an aircraft parked opposite the Cessna 414. The pilot taxied on centerline and the right wingtip of the baron struck the nose of the Cessna 414 causing minor damage to the Cessna 414.
