From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated took off runway 30, winds 240 @15 gusting to 24. Normal take off. Heard loud thud during gear retraction. Extended gear - no green light on right main. Landed runway 24, right main collapsed. Witness stated aircraft departed runway 30. Aircraft became airborne, then contacted the runway in a left crab. Side load on right gear caused gear to collapse. Aircraft became airborne again with right gear dangling. Aircraft landed on runway 24. Mechanic inspected gear and found it failed due to excessive side load. Rwg.
