Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On June 4, 2002, at 2229 CDT, a Beech BE-100-A100 airplane, N799DD, s/n B-102, registered to and operated by Mr. Christian e. finkbeiner, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was substantially damaged when the left main landing gear collapsed while landing on runway 18 at lit airport. N799DD sustained major damage to the undercarriage, left prop, lower engine cowl, spinner, landing gear doors, inboard and outboard left flaps. The commercial pilot and his pilot-rated passenger were not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed and a flight plan was not filed for the title 14, CFR part 91 personal local flight. N799DD was recovered by central flying service and was towed to omni air. The lit FSDO inspected the aircraft and found a tapered pin, p/n AN386-2-9A was not installed in the left extension/retraction torque tubes. This resulted in the left gear collapsed. This pin question was intially found by maintenance during recovery and left in the wheel well area for FAA inspection. The special washer and ms nut that holds the tapered pin in place was not found at the scene. The aircraft had 56.2 flight hours since a Beech phase 3 and 4 was performed by a non-certificated repair facility.
