From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On a return trip from sand ridge airport at collinsville, the pilot attempted to lower the landing gear when one gear would not extend. The pilot circled the airport to extend the gear with the emergency extension. The landing gear breaker would not stay set, so the pilot did not have gear lights. The pilot made a pass by the tower. The tower noted that the gear looked down. On landing at riverside, the gear collapsed and came to rest on its belly. There were no injuries to the pilot, the sole person on board. Aircraft damage was minor.
