From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot was on takeoff roll when he reported that he could not keep the aircraft on the center of the runway. It went off the left side of the runway and flipped over. The pilot stated that the brake may have hung up. As he observed a black line behind the tire as he was rolling, also full right rudder would not move the aircraft back to the center line. The pilot stated there was a crosswind, but it was not enough to affect the aircraft with full right rudder. The aircraft had substantial damage. The rudder and vertical stabilizer were crushed downward, the spinner was bent inward, the wing tips were scraped. The aircraft was totaled by the insurance company and since they now own the aircraft, the brake system has not been looked at. privacy data omitted
