From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) According to the pilot of the aircraft he was coming in too fast for a good landing. The aircraft hit the runway hard and became airborne. The pilot then tried to recover the aircraft and landed it a second time without performing a go-around maneuver. The aircraft throttle was pulled back and the airspeed depleted rapidly. The pilot noticed the aircraft becoming hard to control, when the right main tire hit the ground, then the nose tire hit, with the prop struck the tarmac a number of times, and finally the left main touched down. The aircraft came to a stop on the runway.
