From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft operator was sowing millet seed for a duck hunting club. The airman stated he had finished a swath run and was completing a turn around when he became distracted attempting to see how much seed was left in the hopper. He inadvertently stalled the aircraft and then began stall recovery procedures. The aircraft impacted the ground with a high sink rate in a wings level, nose high attitude. The aircraft nosed over onto its back after contacting the ground. The aircraft received substantial damage to the main landing gear, the vertical stabilizer, both upper and low wings and the propeller. The pilot, the sole occupant, reported no injuries.
