From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) According to his statement, the pilot (patrick dale) lowered landing gear lever at 130 knots after turning downwind for runway 23. While on final approach and before crossing runway threshold Mr. Dale completed a visual sweep of instruments and confirmed the landing gear down light was illuminated. The aircraft touched down with a slight bump followed by further settling. The pilot heard scraping sounds and saw the propeller bend and come to a stop. The pilot realized the landing gear was not extended. The aircraft slid to a stop on the runway. The pilot and passengers safely egressed the aircraft.
