From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) When the pilot attempted to start his aircraft after a maintenance inspection at berlin avionic there was no response from the starter. The pilot decided to secure aircraft and have berlin avionics charge the battery. Pilot decided to rotate propeller by hand to lubricate the oil system. The aircraft engine started and the aircraft moved across the south ramp, and then crossed the active runway where it almost hit a landing king air aircraft. It then crossed the north ramp and finally crashed into a hanger housing a Beech baron aircraft. The incident aircraft was destroyed, the Beech baron received substantial damage, and the hanger received substantial damage.
