What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The aircraft was landing from the north with a quartering tail wind onto sky field, an 1,800 ft. grass runway. Upon touchdown the aircraft bounced, at this time the pilot pushed the throttle forward for a go-around. The throttle lever would not go forward due to corrosion on the lever. The aircraft was still center line of the runway. The aircraft touched down the second time and now drifted left towards the corn field. At this time the pilot was able to get power back but too late and the aircraft flipped over in the corn field. No injuries to the pilot and only minor damage to the aircraft.
