From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On 10/06/02, aircraft N3287C was flown from eastman, Georgia (ezm) to Perry, Georgia (pxe). While set up for final approach to rwy 36, the approach was aborted one mile from landing to maneuver to a construction site one mile southwest of the airport. After this maneuver, the aircraft re-entered left base and final. Approach was made at 80 miles per hour and flaps were selected to full in two stages. Landing gear extension was not selected. The aircraft flared normally at about 65 miles per hour for touch down. The aircraft touched down on the runway with the landing gear fully retracted, damaging the propeller, flaps and belly of the aircraft.
