(-23) According to the certified flight instructor and the student, the student was performing stop-and-go's at the Wasilla Airport. A bi-annual flight review was in progress. During the second landing the aircraft veered to the right, both student and instructor applied opposite rudder to correct. The student however, applied excessive braking action, locked up the brakes and the plane nosed over.

(-23) ACCORDING TO THE CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND THE STUDENT, THE STUDENT WAS PERFORMING STOP-AND-GO'S AT THE WASILLA AIRPORT. A BI-ANNUAL FLIGHT REVIEW WAS IN PROGRESS. DURING THE SECOND LANDING THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE RIGHT, BOTH STUDENT AND INSTRUCTOR APPLIED OPPOSITE RUDDER TO CORRECT. THE STUDENT HOWEVER, APPLIED EXCESSIVE BRAKING ACTION, LOCKED UP THE BRAKES AND THE PLANE NOSED OVER.
