From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) This aircraft was performing touch and go on runway 06. After completing the touch down in a normal landing with flaps extended, Mr. Jared gowlis the certificated flight instructor instructed Mr. Sanchez his student to raise the flaps. Mr. Sanchez raised the landing gear by accident, Mr. Gowlis placed the gear handle in the down position, but it was too late and the gear collapsed. The flight instructor stated that the aircraft speed at the time of the inadvertent gear retraction was approximately 75 m.p.h as the aircraft came to a stop the flight instructor called for emergency vehicles, and shut off the fuel, magnetos, aircraft master switch, and evacuated the aircraft to a safe distance.
