From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft departed Peachtree City, GA (ffc) in route to destin, fla (dts). Upon approach to dts, pilot failed to receive a down and locked indication of right main landing gear. The pilot established radio contact with a aircraft waiting to depart dts and received visual confirmation that the right main gear was not extended and was in the stowed position. The pilot at this time elected to return to ffc in an attempt to consume fuel. The pilot cycled the gear several times in an attempt to extend right main gear and was unsuccessful during approach to ffc. The pilot landed the aircraft on runway 31 in a gear up configuration. No injuries were reported to pilot or passengers.
