One passenger accompanied Mr. Mills aboard N95745. N95745 arrived at Orlando Executive Airport at approximately 14:24 EST on November 13, 2002, and was cleared to land on runway 25. Wind was reported from 020 degrees at 12 knots. Such wind information was provided ot N95745, by the Orlando Executive Airport air traffic control tower, during issuance of the landing clearance. After touchdown on runway 25, N95745 drifted off the left side of the runway at a location approximately 1,000 feet from the threshold of runway 25. N95745 continued in the grass adjacent to runway 25 on a heading of approximately 240 degrees for approximately 500 feet until encountering a taxiway located perpendicular to the left side of runway 25. The nose gear of N95745 struck the edge of pavement of the taxiway, causing the nose gear strut to shear off slightly below the scissors attachment collar. N95745 continued across thetaxiway, skidding on the remainder of the nose wheel strut still attached to the aircraft. When N95745 reached the opposite edge of the taxiway, the nose gear strut dug into the grass adjacent to the taxiway, causing the aircraft to flip over. The aircraft came to rest, approximately 50 feet from the edge of the previously crossed taxiway, in an inverted position, with the nose aligned to a heading of approximately 060 degrees. The pilot and passenger received minor injuries, and the aircraft sustained substantial damage. A post crash inspection of N95745 revealed no mechanical defects that may have contributed to the accident, and the pilot indicated that there were no mechanical issues associated with this accident. privacy data omitted
