From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot indicated that approximately 100 miles from Deland airport he noticed that there was a fuel imbalance problem. He noticed that the right wing had more fuel than the left wing. Pilot indicated that he shut off the fuel selector valve for the left wing to help with the imbalance problem. Approximately three minutes later the pilot got a low fuel from the header tank. The pilot subsequently opened the left fuel selector valve and the light extinguished. On downwind for landing on runway 05 into Deland municipal airport he noticed that the fuel imbalance had become a very serious problem. Upon landing at 70 KTS pilot was applying full left aileron. With a 10 kt quartering crosswind from the left, pilot indicated he could no longer maintain directional control. Aircraft touched down on right main gear and continued down runway 387 feet (on right main gear only) before departing runway and striking taxiway b marker with right main gear. Aircraft continued through grass between runway 05 and parking ramp (on right main gear) for 250 feet. When left main gear touched down, the entire main landing gear system separated from the aircraft, aircraft came to rest on belly after sliding an additional 35 feet.
