From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The aircraft sustained substantial damage following a left main landing gear collapse during the landing rollout at pae, rwy 34. The pilot reported that he experienced a problem with the landing gear during flight and utilized the emergency gear extension system, (nitrogen blow down), to lower the gear. The pilot stated that after activating the system, the landing gear extended and the green gear down indicator lights illuminated. After successfully lowering the gear, the pilot initiated a normal landing at pae. He reported that shortly after touchdown, the left main landing gear collapsed. The aircraft veered to the left, proceeded across a grass median, across a taxiway and down an embankment adjacent to the left side of rwy.
