From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On a revenue flight upon entering the pattern to land the pilot selected the gear down and the landing gear extended, but did not give a gear down indication (three green lights). The pilot then tried to cycle the gear up without success, then put the gear handle down and activated the emergency gear extension, but still didn't get a gear down indication. He made a low pass by the tower and they said the landing gear looked like it was down. During landing roll-out, when he lowered the nose, the nose gear collapsed and damaged the nose cone, nose gear doors, and both propellers. The paper work for the airplane and pilot checked ok.
