From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot and medical crew returning to home base, Yuma. Winds reported 070 at 7 KTS, clear sky, runway 35 selected for landing. Uneventful approach, touchdown and initial roll out. Pilot reports that after approx 800-1000 feet after touch down, left wing started to drop down. Initial response was to use aileron to pick up. Added power to left engine to counter drop. Continued to drop causing left prop to strike pavement. Left wing tip, aileron and flap came in contact with ground surface. Departed runway. Secured aircraft and exited after flight crew. Post inspection found that the left main down lock pivot point bolt (NAS464P4-26) had failed sometime during roll out.
