From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Per conversation with Mr. Coe concerning gear up landing. Aircraft on landing approach pilot accomplished pre-landing check down to landing gear and flaps. At mid field cleared to land on number two behind a T-28, and to cross behind a Cessna to his left. He reduced power and lowered flaps in anticipation of an extended down wind. He spotted the T-28, but lost sight of the Cessna aircraft. When he spotted the Cessna again it was almost abeam so the pilot turned left base and added some power to close the gap behind the T-28 by now had just landed. Losing his concentration while looking for the Cessna aircraft the pilot forgot to lower the landing gear. Aircraft landed gear up breaking the propeller blades.
