From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot reported that the landing gear failure was a result of an aircraft electrical system failure. He commented that the electrical system failed simultaneous to him extending the landing gear, keying the aircraft's communication transmitter, and performing a base turn for final approach. He commented that before landing he thought that he had properly actuated the emergency gear system I.a.w. the aircraft emergency procedures. The aircraft landed gear up sustaining minor damage. After landing the pilot located a tripped circuit breaker. The circuit breaker was reset and the gear was cycled three times without failure. Pilot later admitted that he mismanaged the emergency landing gear system.
