From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot was practicing touch and go landings on runway 34, Asheville Regional Airport (avl) he stated that upon landing he advanced power and took off again retracting the gear. When he attempted to retract flaps, the flaps would not retract and remained in the landing configuration. He then requested to land with avl tower. He stated that it took a lot of power to maintain altitude as the warning horn was loud and on continuously. He also stated that he thought he put the landing gear down. The aircraft landed gear up on runway 34 with minor damage and no injury.
