From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Mr. Borglin stated that he had a normal takeoff and a normal flight. When he put the gear down he remembers seeing the right main, but could not confirm the nose gear. He did have a green light. Upon landing at palwaukee airport, the aircraft bounced and floated to the left. The aircraft came back down on the left runway line where the propeller struck the runway. The aircraft skid another 200 feet and came to rest in the grass on the left side of the runway. At this point in time the nose wheel and tire are missing.
