What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The aircraft was landing on runway 6L. On touchdown, the a/c ballooned two to three times. The pilot noted hearing a "noise" during one of these touchdowns from the nose gear area. The nose vibrated, and the pilot had no steering control on rollout. The a/c veered to the right and went off the runway, and into the grass. It was then that the nose gear collapsed, and the a/c came to rest on it's nose.
