From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On September 9, 2003, at 1415 CDT, a Cessna 210 owned and operated by richard adams experienced a loss of power and crashed in a field near Pine River, MN. This power loss required the airman to execute an emergency landing. While conducting a power off landing, the pilot reported that the stall warning horn was continuously sounding. When the aircraft wings were disconnected to transport the aircraft to a storage facility, they were found to be completely intact and no breach of the fuel system occurred during the accident. They were found to be completely depleted of fuel. As the fuel lines were disconnected from the wings, limited fuel dripped from the lines. VFR flight conditions prevailed, and no flight plan was filed by Mr. Adams who was enroute from superior, WI to Pine River, MN. The aircraft was substantially damaged, the pilot sustained minor injuries and the passenger was seriously injured.
