(-23) Pilot departed Ardmore, OK and flew to gainsville, TX. No landing was made. Pilot returned to Ardmore, OK. Pilot stated she took the left downwind for a full stop landing on runway 17. She turned onto the left base and encountered a downdraft or wind shear. The next thing she remembered was sitting in a tree.
