From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot reported that he touched down just after the numbers on runway 33. Pilot reported that the aircraft felt like it was being bumped off of its main gear unevenly and fairly quickly. Aircraft braking resulted in the main tires skidding irregularly so pilot opted to allow aircraft to roll back and settle before applying further brakes. Pilot attempted braking again with the same aforementioned results. Pilot decided that a go around would have been unsafe and attempted to stop the aircraft by pumping the aircraft brakes. Pilot reported that he attempted to slow the aircraft by performing s turns approximately 200-300 feet near the end of the runway. Aircraft ultimately overshot the runway sustaining substantial damage. Pilot commented that the aircraft weight 5250 lbs with fuel. Airport info: runway length 2270 ft, at an altitude of 2737 ft. fss weather VMC, winds 22007 KTS, temp 30 degrees c (pilot estimated), altimeter 29.87.
