From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

MD state police and wicomico county sheriff department responded, took statements and photos. Injuries and ground impressions indicate that the parachute never inflated. The chute was deployed but did not inflate apparently because ^privac^ became entangled in the lines while spinning. The parachute was inspected by FAA on 10/2/03. The reserve was not deployed but appeared to be intact and operational. Condition of the main was difficult to ascertain due to impact damage and biological debris.
